n2s join the first cohort of suppliers and sign a charter which aims to seek technological solutions to meet GDSA and the UK Government’s sustainability commitments.
Andrew Gomarsall MBE, Executive Chairman of n2s, said: “We are honoured to be amongst the first cohort signing the UK Government Digital Sustainability Alliance (GDSA) Partnership Charter.
“We believe alongside the UK Government and fellow suppliers we can make a real impact to reduce carbon emissions in the technology sector and together we can create a positive change.
“We look forward to collaborating with other members of the GDSA partnership including Vodafone, Dell Technologies, Atos, BT, ServiceNow, Microsoft and Kainos. “
The charter has been initiated as part of the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as COP27 taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, from 6th to 18th November.
Building on the ground-breaking tech for climate event at COP26 which was attended by close to 2,000 stakeholders, CEOs and senior leaders from a range of technology companies. The charter will inform the GDSA 12-month plan, building on the great progress of the working groups on Circular Economy, Scope 3 emissions and Global Ecological Impact.
