We’re excited to share that our Executive Director, Andrew Gomarsall MBE, has joined the judging panel for the National Innovation Challenge themed ‘Sustainable Impact.’ This exciting competition by HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges) invites schools nationwide to present innovative ideas or prototypes promoting sustainability. Winners will embark on an unforgettable journey to MIT in the USA!
Andrew attended the launch event for the awards which took place at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London along with his fellow judges. An incredible lineup of judges has been assembled including: Konnie Huq, Richard Pennybrook CBE (Skills England), Kamran Lateef (Amazon), Jason Knight (Heathrow), Steve Whittaker (MITILP), and Clare Wildfire (Mott McDonald).
Andrew commented on his involvement:
“I am so thankful to HRUC for the invitation to judge innovate ideas to tackle one of the greatest challenges of our time, sustainability. The student’s creativity and commitment to this cause will inspire hope. Remembering, true innovation isn’t just about invention; it’s about impact. This groundbreaking initiative with the prestigious MITILP in the US, will be the start of our students solving real life challenges and redefine what’s possible for our planet.”
