We were asked by Royal Bank of Scotland to undertake server installations within their branches and first started working with them when some of their branches were being taken over by Williams and Glyn.
Royal Bank of Scotland’s brief was to undertake server installations within a list of 100 sites across the UK and Ireland. Our team created a project plan to roll this out across the sites and sent in our expert team to:
Undertake a site visit to create an inventory of data cabinet
Work with RBS to devise a plan of what needed to be installed in each branch
Install the relevant servers on site overnight to ensure there was no interruption to the service to customers within opening hours.
Utilise a ping test to India to ensure all systems were working correctly.
This project was rolled out over an 8 month period, successfully installing the correct equipment in each branch and without causing any interruptions to the bank’s service to customers. This work has now resulted in regular work for RBS including installations, deinstallation , data destruction and IT recycling.
